Made in Britain Board welcomes new Directors

CEO John Pearce has officially welcomed two new Directors to the Board of Made in Britain. Camilla Hadcock of Roach Bridge Tissues and Chris Harrop of Marshalls plc join the senior leadership team as it looks forward to another year of membership growth and building an even stronger value proposition for 2017. Chris and Camilla join David Osborne of Roman Ltd, Uri Baruchin of The Partners and Antony Wallis, Best of Britannia.

“Having Camilla and Chris join us will be tremendous for members of Made in Britain at every level. We’ve made great strides forward this year but there’s so much more we can be doing to promote British manufacturing with the marque.”  said David Osborne, who joined the Made in Britain Board of Directors in 2016.  

Chris Harrop is keen to help British manufacturers sell more with the Made in Britain marque. "I'm really excited to be joining the organization at this point in its story. There's never been a more important time for British manufacturers to get their provenance marketing strategy right, and make it really work for the business. Made in Britain is uniquely placed to galvanise all of the UK's makers together with the experts they need, to help them win business here and abroad."

Member since 2016, Camilla Hadcock of Roach Bridge Tissues has made several appearances in Made in Britain promotion films and has been an active supporter of the Made in Britain network. " I think we're at a great time for British manufacturing as we already have a fantastic reputation for quality and right now everyone is upping their game. Getting members to source and procure from each other is something I'm really keen to work on with the Made in Britain Board."

 

    Chris Harrop is Group Marketing Director and the Director of Sustainability at Marshalls plc, the market leading supplier of hard landscaping products. An accomplished marketer with a proven global track record, he has helped transform the company into a leading sustainable business, winning numerous awards for commitment to the environment and supply chain ethics, including BITC, Business in the Community Awards for Excellence. Chris is also Non Executive Director of the United Nations Global Compact UK Network, and is a Non Executive Director at the Ethical Trade Initiative. 

   Camilla Hadcock is Financial Director at Roach Bridge Tissues She has positioned the company as the  specialist printer of bespoke tissue, whilst achieving steady growth by concentrating on quality and value.  Roach Bridge Tissues is proud of its emphasis on producing environmentally friendly packaging using recycled paper, water based inks, and running the factory with on-site generated hydro electric power.
