Great British Exchange talks to Made in Britain CEO

MADE IN BRITAIN - PASSIONATE ABOUT BRITISH PRODUCTS AND THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE THEM, GUESS WHAT?... SO ARE WE!

Posted by gbexchange on 13th Oct 2015

We recently met John Pearce, CEO of the Made in Britain campaign and on hearing about the GBE and the work we do he commented, “The Great British Exchange could revolutionise the way retailer and trade buyers source British made products. It’s great to see a web-based platform that will have social impact on the High Street, at the same time as having a direct effect on sales for British manufacturers across many categories.”

The Made in Britain marque supports and promotes British manufacturing enabling customers at home and abroad to identify British-made products. It came about after manufacturer Stoves commissioned research which identified that consumers felt confused about which products were actually made in the UK. British makers and manufacturers can apply for membership to Made in Britain and on application they will receive access to the unique marque which they can use on their products and marketing materials.

Here at the GBE we support Made in Britain and share their passion for goods made here in the UK. To learn more about what they do you can visit their website www.madeingb.org and join in their Twitter Hour #madeinbritainhour on Thursdays at 1pm.
